Scam prevention
Use the following email address to trace where emails sent to you are coming from. This site will explain how to do it. I have used it several times and it works great. Need the person to send you an email, ask for a picture of him/her. Tell them to write you a poem. Be creative. Just get them to send you an email. If possible get them to send more than one. Sometimes it doesn't come up with an IP address. This is a free site.
http://www.ip-adress.com/trace_email/#result Yahoo's Profiles can be viewed here, Typically users who SPAM all day have their accounts suspended and shutdown fast. If the person who wants to chat with you has been a member since "today" typically not a good sign. http://profiles.yahoo.com/email address of person you want to search To use this URL just append the users name to the end Example: http://profiles.yahoo.com/joseph Carlton2009 It will say Member since. By the way I discovered Joseph Bruno Carlton from Yahoo Personals was sending me emails from Nigeria by doing the email search! Good Luck to everyone and keep safe!!!

73 years of age and from austrailia i guess singles net doen't screen too well some don't even have too pay.it's becoming a joke.

Scammers
they can type in any city or state they want. Geobytes.com traces their email . All you need is their IP numbers to trace, from the email header. That's why most of them get u on an IM real quick, much harder to trace on there. Make them send u an email before u ever start chatting with them. Hope it helps.

Scammers
So that's what's up, eh? Unbelieveable. Got about ten requests this evening from people who wanna hook up on Yahoo. It's always Yahoo. Also seems to be a generic type of message. Unbelieveable! I do see Singlesnet squishing lots of them right away. That's what I get for forking over 90 smackers in search of love, eh?
