Default Meeting for the First Time

Would it be better to meet the guy at a public place alone or should I bring my friend and her boy-friend and double-date for the first time meet? Thanks in advanced for the replies.

I think it is always much better to meet anyone in public just to feel a bit safer. Dont bring a friend just in case it does not work out you can always leave as soon as you can. Good Luck.

Bringing a friend and her boyfriend along may seem like a good idea, but it will put too much pressure on most guys.
Only a real outgoing, "the more the merrier" type will be hapy with that arrangement.
Meeting in person is tough enough without feeling that one is on display, or being scrutinized for the approval of "friends".
